Sibyl

Portable coffee machine with American filter

Sibilla is an innovative portable American coffee maker aimed at a new generation of consumers who are always on the move, frequently changing jobs, homes, and even lifestyles. Realized by my team during a design course in the Design & Engineering degree program at Politecnico di Milano, in collaboration with De Longhi as part of the national "Progetto Simbiosi" initiative, Sibilla was chosen among the 10 best projects in Italy and prototyped by the company.

Thanks to its water reservoir (which can be closed accordion style) and dispenser that holds the coffee needed for an entire day, Sibilla presents itself as the ideal solution for those who want to enjoy great coffee anytime, anywhere, without having to worry about buying and transporting large quantities.

Our project was presented together with other selected ones during an exhibition event at Mudec in Milan. Sibilla's success demonstrated how the combination of innovation, design and functionality can offer a product that can meet the needs of an increasingly demanding and trend-conscious public.

I am proud to have participated in this project and to have contributed to the success of Sibyl, which is an excellent example of how design can combine aesthetics and technology to create innovative and functional products.
