Cube Light Link

Modular led light cube

The "Cube Light Link" project grew out of a collaboration with a colleague for a competition held by Leroy Merlin on Desall. The brief called for the design of lighting elements and lamps for bathrooms, in line with a contemporary lifestyle perspective. The result is a system of light modules that explore versatility and interactivity in interior lighting design.

The modules, in the shape of flat squares with a thickness of about 1cm, are composed of an LED plate inside them and an opal polycarbonate diffuser. This minimal and modern design fits perfectly into any bathroom setting, meeting both aesthetic and functional needs.

The most distinctive feature of Cube Light Link lies in its flexible tabs on the sides, which allow mutual engagement between the modules. This mechanism makes it possible to provide power to the various elements and to compose custom designs on the wall surface. The tabs can be bent up to 90 degrees, offering the possibility of creating three-dimensional compositions.

The system is designed to be highly adaptable: modules can be attached to the bathroom wall like tiles, forming a light wall, or they can be assembled together to create a cube with six modules. This ability to customize, both in terms of shape and light intensity, makes Cube Light Link a project that reflects the contemporary vision of design, where the user is called upon to actively participate in the creation of the home environment.

The idea of Cube Light Link was particularly calibrated to meet the needs of a young user, who builds and modifies his or her future every day. This concept is reflected in the design approach of the lighting system, which invites experimentation and play with light and form.
